International Students were the Runner-up in the 2019 LUT Sports Festival Cheerleading Competition.

On the afternoon of April 23, the 2019 University Sports Festival was held at the Pengjiaping Campus. This year’s event witnessed more than 150 cheerleaders from 12 schools. Each group gave a wonderful cheerleading performance to the audience which can be described as one the best cheerleading competitions ever witnessed in recent years. International students representing School of International Education came second in the competition.

Although this was the first time that international students participated in the cheerleading Competition, they exhibited their beauty with youthful vigor and dynamic dancing style that won the hearts of many including their opponents and received a standing ovation from the audience who were stunned by their sterling performance

Cheerleading competition has become an important part of the series of the school sports events. It has become an integrated part of the annual sports festival that students have grown to love. Inheriting the concept of “vitality, team and fashion”, it is undoubtedly a side attraction for this annual sports event, because it can show the enthusiasm and vitality of the team.
